Strength training for youth has become increasingly popular over the last decade. While it was previous thought that it would stunt growth and cause injury it has been shown to do the exact opposite! Like gymnastics, swimming, and many other sports, weightlifting is a skill that when learned early helps increase the body’s ability to be at a lower injury risk and have much higher levels of performance! With this knowledge Coach Zach developed Champion Weightlifting, which has a large focus on Youth Weightlifting, but also includes adults as part of the team. Over the past 3 years the team has qualified over a dozen Youth National Championship Qualifiers as well as a Senior National Champion. With this, your youth has an not only an opportunity to become stronger for whatever sport or activity they are in, but also to compete in a new and exciting sport.
